Switzerland

Switzerland
Family Vacation

Megan, Jen, and Andy met us in Switzerland in June for a family vacation.    We met in Zurich and branched out from there for a few days before going to Munich (next blog).  We spent the first day walking through Zurich, spent the next day in Lucerne,  then travelled around Switzerland, Germany, Lichtenstein, and Austria on the last day (ok, Austria was the result of a wrong turn).

Lion of Lucerne, is a sculpture in LucerneSwitzerland, hewn in 1820–21. It commemorates the Swiss Guards who were massacred in 1792 during the French Revolution,

We took a day tour through Switzerland.  These are a few pictures of the Rhine falls on the Germany/Switzerland border

We just couldn't get our cameras out quick enough... The guy was blowing a Matterhorn as we stopped the car.
